A brand new home for our Seedlings Day Care
Our environment
Thanks to the government's School Based Nursery Grant, we have been able to refurbish all aspects of our physical environment including indoors and outdoors.
Indoors
Indoor learning environments in early childhood should be designed to foster a safe, stimulating, and supportive atmosphere that encourages children to play, learn and grow.
Our spaces are flexible, accessible and adapt to the needs and interests of individual children, whilst also considering each child’s stage of development.
Our focus is on the Prime Areas of Learning which are communication and language, physical development and personal social and emotional development, as we know that they form the foundations on which to build a child’s future learning journey.
Outdoors
Being outside in the fresh air every day helps benefit developing brains and body functioning.
Simply being outside improves children’s health, social and emotional wellbeing, improved immunity, sight, sensorial and hearing development, neuro and physical development, and cognitive enhancement at every child’s individual pace.
Our outdoor areas have been designed especially with babies and young children in mind, with the opportunity to develop physically as well as emotionally in an exciting but safe outdoor environment.
